Scoop Deville’s Staying Busy

POSTED BY: Kcee

Scoop Deville has been killin it lately… And if you don’t know who Scoop Deville is, let us break it down for you. Scoop, now 22, started making music when he was 13, and his father (legendary MC Kid Frost) encouraged him to follow his talent and dreams. Two years ago, Scoop got production duties on Snoop Dogg’s Ego Trippin’, but late last year, he delivered his music-industry calling card, supplying the track to the Dogg’s blockbuster “I Wanna Rock.”

He is currently involved with his group, Get Busy Committee and producing music for Fat Joe, Bustah Rhymes, Bishop Lamont, Nore, The Game, Jim Jones, Young Jeezy, Clipse, Cassidy, Xzibit, Cory Guns, and of course GBC. Most recently Scoop produced Fat Joe’s song Ha Ha (Slow Down): Fat Joe- Ha Ha video

This past week he was on location in South Central L.A. with J. Killa doing a video shoot for his single (produced by Scoop Deville). Video coming soon.

Retailer of the Month: LoserKids.com

POSTED BY: Kcee

TLFI is proud to announce our Retail of the Month for July, LoserKids.com

LoserKids.com began as an online action sports and music influenced youth apparel retailer in May 1999. Since, they’ve been positioning Loserkids as one of the premier and unique youth retailing destinations on and offline. They offer products and brands and represent the lifestyle of their customers, which we respect.

Quick Q&A with our Loser friends:

How’s business? Boomin’

Who is your typical LoserKids customer? Our typical customer is someone who wants the best up and coming brands as well as the classics who are still killin it and keepin it interesting.

Do you have any interesting stories about people returning weird stuff? The oddest thing so far was a baby t-shirt with a graphic of an old man bowling from Las Vegas, super weird. They never gave us any contact info so we could tell them they returned it to us, so my kid has a sweet new tee.

Do you ever live-stream band performances on your website? We have in the past and plan to in the future, be sure to sign up for our email list so we can let you know.

Does the store ever do any special events with featured artists? Yes we do, we’ve done a few special edition tees with bands like Motion City Soundtrack, Blink 182 and The Matches. We are also presenting an art/toy show with a brand called Analog Playset this August featuring Brian Ewing, Crayola, Joe Ledbetter, Pete Wentz and a grip more.

Which TLFI products sell the best in your store? So far it’s been the Princess and Reggie tee’s. Cut-n-sew arrives soon I’m sure that’ll kill it too.

What product would you like to see TLFI come out with? You guys should do vinyl Reggie toys!

Quickfire Word Association:

Koala- Eucalyptus
UZI- NWA
Paris- Cheesy
Graffiti- Awesome
Back- To the Future
Hipster- Done

Check out LoserKids.com and show them some love.
